X17 - RoadSkin personal organizer (made from bonded) in the formats A5, A6, A7
RoadSkin, is regenerated leather and a pure material. It is perfect for our purposes - it is very robust and it is not as expensive as leather.
We purchase the material as plates that can simply be processed. We discovered it in the shoe industry.
Our bonded leather is produced using only specially selected scrap material remaining after the production of leather or leather goods.
This selection assures that our finished product has the desired properties necessary for binding high-quality editions.
In addition to the leather fibers, our bonded leather consists of natural tanning products, modified natural oils, organic dyes and
natural latex as a binder - meaning that our product is produced almost exclusively from renewable resources.
The material has a special advantage: it can easily be marked and be painted. That is why it is perfect for new creations - especially the two bright surfaces cork and chrome.
The surface is very enjoyable - and because of its naturalness it has cult potential.
X17 uses a book-by-book-system, which means that our ring binder includes small books and not single pages. Every single book is attached with a rubber ring along the back of the cover - ingenious. And so simple that the quesition arises, why nobody before had such an idea. In comparison to the ring binder, the advantage is obvious: X17 needs less space. It is flat and compact. Ideal for jackets, shirts and even trouser pockets. You can write as easy on the left page as on the right page and no metal claws disturb.
